 On behalf of the members and ministry team, I'd like to invite you to visit us at Riverside Community Church in Southern California's Inland Empire. Our mission is "Changing Lives by Connecting People to a Gracious God." That's really what it's all about - getting, being and staying connected to a gracious God. We believe that when we are connected to Him, our lives won't just be changed, they'll be transformed. You'll find that as time goes on, you'll begin to become what God has always wanted you to be. You'll find that the healthier you are, the more your life is centered around or built on, God's five purposes of Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship, Ministry and Outreach. But before I get too far along, I'd like to tell you what you'll find when you visit RCC.

Children & Youth News for This Week |
This Weekend’s Children's Lesson is The Plane Truth Lesson #5: The Journey to Worship. The kids
will hear about God telling Moses to build a tabernacle so that people
would have a place to come and worship Him. They will discover that
they can worship God whenever they want and wherever they are. Be
sure to pick up your God-goodies: FREE activity booklets, take-home
sheets, and daily devotionals. The DVD is only $3.
Family Church returns next Saturday
for Mother's Day weekend. Don't miss this precious and wonderful
worship service. There will be no programming for children or youth as
the entire church family meets in the Worship Center.
Graduates of 2008,
we want to recognize your achievement. Simply turn in a communication
card with the correct spelling of your name along with the degree you
are earning (8th grade, 12th grade, Bachelors of . . .)

Second Base: Developing Spiritual H.A.B.I.T.s |
 RCC’s Discipleship Class, Second Base, will begin at 1 pm on May 10. In Second Base, you’ll discover five H.A.B.I.T.s for spiritual health, the skills to begin implementing them and the tools to continue them. Lunch and child care will be provided. Email Pastor Eric to sign up.

Third Base - Weekend Edition |

Third Base is RCC's way of helping you learn how God has made you. You'll learn how you're S.H.A.P.E.d to serve. This class is being re-shaped as a Friday-night, Saturday-afternoon training beginning May 30 at 7 pm. Lunch and childcare are available for Saturday afternoon but you'll need to let us know as soon as possible. We hope you'll consider joining us. Email Coach Rachel to sign up.

Amazing Freedom is the title for this year’s Women of Faith Conference. This year’s theme is “Infinte Grace!” The dates are September 5 and 6 and the cost is $65
per person. This event sells out every year so be sure to call
the office or talk with Anita Elkins or Rita Carleton after church to
sign up.
